The Rise of Fraud

On April 6, 2016 by Dwight

We live in a world where people will do anything to make money, including having a car ‘accident’. Many drivers have been drifting along, to have the car in front slam on their brakes for no reason whatsoever. Some people manage to brake in time, but others end up driving into the back of the car.

This is a simple scam, and as we all know, insurers go for the driver who crashed into the other. They’re always the person at fault, but it’s not fair in this circumstance. The only way to get around this issue is by keeping your distance. Fraudsters want you to hit them, so they love drivers who are right up their back. Don’t give them the opportunity to slam their brakes on for your money, take measures a step further and put a camera in your car and record the journey, you can then prove to the insurers that it wasn’t your fault.
