The Mercedes A-Class – An Elegant Hatchback

The Mercedes A-class in a different league to many of the hatchbacks on the market, and you’d expect so because they’re not exactly on the ‘cheap side’. The aggressive grill and huge Mercedes badge reflect a great deal of style, while you also get a great deal of space.

This five door hatch will top out at 126 mph, while the insurance group is said to be 18, so it’s not exactly an ideal first time car for a new young driver. That is particularly high for a 1.6 litre car but it’s not too surprising when you consider the power the car packs. Inside you get a Audio 20 CD/ radio with a very large 5.8” colour display. It essentially looks like a tablet and it operates like one too, allowing you to make changes to your car’s performance, navigate to a destination and browse you music selection.

This model is very different to any other Mercedes’ deign, and the dramatic sharp lines show that the A-Class really means business. It’s said to be the next generation of Mercedes Benz and that certainly bodes well for the future.
