Fixing a Chip in your Windscreen
A chip in your windscreen might not seem like a big deal, but if you leave it, then it can become one. Chips can appear in the glass of your windscreen at any time, usually when you have driven over a rough patch of road and the car has been jolted around. A small chip will appear in the glass, often looking like a bubble.
You should get any kind of chip fixed as quickly as possible. This is because it will become much bigger and eventually, your windscreen can crack and shatter, which is very dangerous if you are driving when it happens.
Take your car to the nearest garage to have the repair made and if possible, make sure you drive on smooth, flat roads. You may be able to get it fixed on your insurance, though there might be a premium to pay, so check with the insurer first.
